Renewable Energy, Biomass & Sustainability (REB&S) is committed to the long-term preservation and accessibility of its published content.

As part of its current preservation practices, REB&S maintains backup copies of its editorial files and published materials on the local server of the Asociación Latinoamericana de Desarrollo Sustentable y Energías Renovables (ALDESER), the journal’s publisher.

In addition, REB&S uses the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) through Open Journal Systems (OJS). This preservation service is designed for OJS journals and contributes to the long-term safeguarding of published content through a distributed preservation network.

These measures are intended to ensure that the journal’s published content remains available and protected in the event of technical failures, platform changes, service interruptions, accidental data loss, or journal discontinuation.

REB&S may evaluate and implement additional digital preservation mechanisms in the future, according to its editorial needs, technical capacity, and the requirements of recognized preservation services.
