Is a Professor-Researcher at TecNM/Instituto Tecnológico de Orizaba, with more than 30 years of academic experience. He holds a Ph.D. in Food Science and Biochemistry, with a specialization in Environmental Biotechnology, from the Instituto Tecnológico de Veracruz, in collaboration with INRA Narbonne, France. He has contributed to the training of more than 100 doctoral, master’s, and undergraduate students, and has authored more than 100 scientific publications.

holds a Master of Science in Electronic Engineering from CENIDET and a Ph.D. in Process Engineering from the University of Lyon, France, with postdoctoral training in Automatic Control at Université Nancy 1. He is currently a Professor-Researcher at CENIDET. His research areas include automatic control, fault detection in processes, and new technologies for sustainable development.

Professor at Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana-Azcapotzalco and researcher specializing in computational fluid dynamics, process intensification, renewable energy applications, hybrid solar drying, multiphase flow, and sustainable recovery of valuable materials from waste. He has published around 40 papers in JCR-indexed journals and supervised numerous MSc and PhD theses.

has a degree in biology and a master in Biochemical Sciences (UNAM), and a PhD from the University of Montpellier 2 (France). He currently serves as a Titular Professor at the University of Guadalajara; his research focuses on the analysis of microbiomes using metagenomic and metatranscriptomic data in different bioprocesses for energy production and the interpretation of microbial interactions.

Doctor Cuauhtémoc Sánchez Ramírez is a professor and researcher at the DEPI of the Instituto Tecnológico de Orizaba. His research interests include modeling and simulation of energy supply chains and system simulation using a dynamic simulation approach. He is a co-author and editor of seven books published by Trillas, IGI Global, and Springer. He publishes in journals such as: Applied Energy, Computers & Industrial Engineering, Journal of Cleaner Production and Renewable Energy. He is also a frequent reviewer for: Resources, Conservation & Recycling, Renewable Energy, Journal of Cleaner Production, and Ecological Modelling. He is a Level 2 National Researcher with SECIHTI, and in 2017 he won the National Logistics Award, the “Tameme” prize awarded by the Soy Logístico Association, the Ministry of Economy, and the Ministry of Communications and Transportation.
